What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lullingstone Castle and World Garden for its stunning botanical diversity and rich history. The friendly staff, excellent cafe, and well-priced plant nursery are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the narrow access lane can be a minor inconvenience, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, offering a relaxing and enriching day out for all ages.
"What a lovely charming relaxed place this is. And people who work here are truly welcoming. We were lucky enough to visit this place on the last day when the gardens were open, and on the night of the Halloween event for adults and kids. It had everything - carved pumpkins, ghosts walking in the garden, dancers, a night excursion (which started in the graveyard) and the fireworks at the end. The cactus orangery was lid with 750 candles!
People who work here are really passionate about what they do.
The World Garden which has plants from all over the world had plants I have never seen in my life, and I travelled a lot. Even now in autumn it looked pretty.
The place is next to the interesting bridge (about 20min walk each way)"
