"Went to go to St Cyrus bay and Montrose beach but it was high tide and quite choppy waters. Ended up driving to Lunan Bay (not far) and wow! So much more protected, quiet, calm seas and the softest sand. No litter and amazingly well looked after. There is a cafe where the food smells incredible, we didn't try any, but the prices were quite high.
Nonetheless our favourite beach around the Dundee area."
