You can go down into pit 1 via a ladder and kind of crawl into the tunnels and it's quite fun, very messy with the chalk.
If you need flat land/wheelchair accessible, this isn't the place. The terrain is very rough and bumpy and to access pit 1 you need to be able to use a ladder. You would only be able to go into the exhibition room."
