In the evening I had the 2 course set menu for £20 and had an amazing curry and gorgeous pudding. Enjoyed an early morning walk first thing followed by a lovely coffee in their picnic area just before the rain came down. Very quiet and peaceful."

"Amazing time having dinner at this pub. Travelled up from Sussex for a weekend getaway, and had a great time. The mushroom and ale pie was the nicest pie I've ever tried, and the burger, with blue cheese sauce was delicious. Would absolutely recommend to everyone and would be my regular if it wasn't for the fact it's so far away. Tried to tip but wouldn't let us add extra to the bill via card
