We had an awesome time exploring this huge beech in Mardley Heath Nature Reserve today. Apparently it’s know as the monster tree due to how the roots have formed. It was wonderful. 💗💗💗

"This has been walking distance from home for years and I never knew about it! I'm so glad to have discovered a lovely local place to go for a quiet walk and experience nature, especially during lockdown. Bring some shoes you don't mind getting muddy, or like me, come ill-prepared and just go for it anyway! An endless walk through the woods with some good bumps and ditches on way. What's more to love? 😁"

Abdus Hosein

"Beautiful nature reserve with lots of paths to avoid people and social distance. Especially during autumn this is a blace to go. Have a wander through the birches and enjoy the colorful leaves, hunt for mushrooms and watch the Jays and squirrels squabble for acorns.

Don't be a terrible person and pick up your rubbish, don't litter :) the wildlife will thank you for it.
