Visitors praise Marlins Museum for packing a historical punch into a small, beautiful Norman building. The free entry is a significant draw, with many encouraging donations to support this vital community asset. While compact, the museum offers a treasure trove of local maritime, aviation, and film history that delights all ages.

"I had never been to Shoreham till today and indeed came on back of being interested in Charles II (Shoreham where he left England). So the museum was my first stop. The ladies at desk were welcoming and informative. The museum itself is historic with beams dating over 800 years. Working as I do on HMS Victory it was great to see artefacts from her.

Such places might be small but pack more in what they can give us. I donated what I could towards the museum."
