"Lovely little walk on the outskirts of Norwich. Nice opportunity to take a paddle in the Yare too. This also has grazing areas for cattle, so if you are taking a dog, keep an eye out and be prepared to get them on a lead quickly.
Be warned, the car park is small and fills up quite quickly on a weekend."

"Amazing to be in the countryside only a short walk from Unthank Road. Walked right through to Eaton and round to the UEA, great space for dogs to run and swim but be mindful there are cattle grazing and dogs need to be on their lead at points."

"Such a great summer surprise given its location. Beautiful area. Cool clear waters, fab for foot dipping, or more! Route is not always smooth, but generally fine for walking, cycling, etc, and wheelchair access is not impossible. Disability parking down the hill right next to lock-gate entrance. Small car park up the hill. Some great picnic spots. Surprisingly quiet. Road noise is minimal, distant, certainly not intrusive. Next visit, will try the walk through wooded area too."
