What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mill Road Street Art is a dynamic, open-air gallery that offers a constantly evolving visual experience. Visitors praise the vibrant colors, diverse styles, and the joy of discovering hidden gems in unexpected places. While the art is ephemeral, its impact on the neighborhood's character is undeniable.
"Such great experience - couldn’t recommend more. The stewards/guides Sheila and Caro were absolutely amazing throughout all of the tour. You can feel how passionate they are about the artist and the house - it’s contagious! The house is absolutely gorgeous - so much craftsmanship and talent. An hour very well spent - surrounded by history and beauty."

"This is a fascinating little house museum, a wonderful combination of art, design and craftsmanship, alongside a fascinating social history and the often untold stories of working class aspiration. Our stewards were fantastic and brought the house alive. Only drawback is the exhibition space being combined with the workshop shop which end up impinging on the other. Cannot recommend highly enough."

"I have been wanting to visit David Parr's house for a few years now and it did not disappoint. The house itself is a capsule of time, creativity and dedication to craft and to the family home. Our tour guides were great and gave us time to look at the house alone whilst always closely for questions and information. The young lady (blonde wavy hair), we didn't catch her name, was really sweet and informative, she was doing a great job. I recommend a visit to anyone interested in history and the arts & crafts. It is such a special house."
