"One of the most magical places.
I am possibly a little biased as I spent so many hours/ days here as a youth.
I currently live right alongside the highest mountain in Western Europe.
However the beauty, history, views and the overall feel of this place are magical."

"I love Minions but had never been up on the CheeseWring.
The views are stunning! I had it to myself for a little while and just sat soaking up the atmosphere and the wildness of the Moor.
As for the stone stacks! Just how! 🤔"

"A beautiful little hike in the unspoilt park, and impressive rock towers. Magnificent views. Small suggestion for improvement: at the car park, only there, a small description would be helpful, what the reason for these geological formations is but also why the ruins and abandoned mine.
Here the help I got from a friend:
You need to research beam engines. Steam power wasn't contained in a small unit those buildings are best thought of as a stone covering on a steam engine. The rpm was really low but the cubic cylinders were massive. The chimney was the smoke exhaust. Steam after the power stroke was condensed into super heated water and put back to the water tank before re heating.
They were called beam engines as they worked like a massive kids sea saw with the Steam pushing down on one end and tge cylinder creating vacuum/suction on the other.
The area mined copper, silver and lead I think also gypsum."
