What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Miracle at Henrietta is celebrated for its incredibly immersive and over-the-top Christmas decorations, creating a magical, festive atmosphere. While the themed cocktails are visually appealing and fun, many find them overpriced and lacking in flavor. The staff are generally pleasant, but service can feel rushed due to high demand.
"The Christmas-themed decoration is absolutely incredible — unique, immersive, and perfect for anyone who loves the holidays as much as I do. Unfortunately, this was both my first and last visit to your cocktail bar. Aside from the impressive décor and the strong advertising, nothing else truly stood out.
The place is completely overpriced for what it offers. The cocktails were disappointing — ranging from bland to genuinely poor. To be honest, I can make better ones at home. They were definitely not worth the £16 I paid.
The staff was not rude, but they also didn’t smile much or show any warmth; there was none of that cheerful Christmas spirit you would expect from a venue like this. The chairs were uncomfortable, and although the music was nice, I expected something more curated — a playlist or program that builds atmosphere and elevates the mood.
There are other similar themed places that offer far better value for money. Sadly, apart from the beautiful decoration, the experience did not live up to the hype."

"Just the most wonderful Christmas evening. Kimberley, our serving elf, was fabulous, explaining all the drinks and the various wacky receptacles they were served in. The cocktails, though pricey, were fun and festively themed. The whole atmosphere was amazing from the faux furs on seats to the over the top decor. Not to mention the Instagrammable seating area and the tunnel of lights to the bathrooms.
Come expecting to bump elbows with your fellow winners of the Henriettas booking lottery and empty your wallet on festive fun and you will have a ball like we did.
(There was even a hiccup with our order and they handled it like pros.)
Very impressed and cannot wait until next year."

"Just fantastic! Not an inch of the place without some Christmas decor of some kind. Drinks creative. Drink glassware fun. Staff engaging and clearly enjoying it too. Best way to kick off the holidays."

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Consider visiting earlier in the day or on a weekday if bringing children, as it might be less crowded and more manageable. While there might be some festive snacks, it's not a dining destination. The price of cocktails is also a factor to consider if you're looking for budget-friendly options for the whole family. It's best viewed as a special treat for a short visit to soak in the holiday magic.
📸 Instagrammers & Content Creators
To maximize your content creation, book a table during daylight hours if possible, or be prepared to work with the bar's lighting. The festive cocktails, with their creative presentation, are also excellent subjects. Be mindful of other patrons and the bar's policies regarding extensive photoshoots, but generally, capturing the festive spirit is encouraged.
🥂 Couples Seeking Festive Vibes
Booking in advance is highly recommended to ensure a table and avoid long waits, allowing you to focus on enjoying each other's company and the festive surroundings. While the cocktails are pricey, the unique ambiance and the shared experience of being immersed in such a spectacular Christmas setting make it a worthwhile splurge for a date night.

The Miracle Experience: More Than Just Drinks
While the visual experience is a major draw, the cocktails are designed to match the festive theme. Served in unique and often whimsical glassware, they are a conversation starter. However, it's important to manage expectations regarding taste versus presentation. Some visitors find the cocktails to be on the pricier side and not the most exceptional in flavor, while others appreciate the fun and novelty. The staff, often dressed in festive attire, aim to enhance the experience, though service can feel rushed during busy periods as they try to accommodate many guests.
Ultimately, a visit to Miracle at Henrietta is about embracing the kitschy, over-the-top celebration of Christmas. It's a place to enjoy the holiday magic, take memorable photos, and share a unique experience with friends. If you go with an open mind, ready for a visually stunning and fun, albeit pricey, festive outing, you're likely to have a wonderful time.
Navigating the Crowds and Costs
For those who can't secure a booking, walk-in options exist, but be prepared for potentially long queues, sometimes exceeding an hour. Visiting during off-peak times, like early in the week or earlier in the evening, might offer a slightly better chance of getting a table without an extensive wait.
The pricing is another key consideration. Cocktails are generally priced around £15-£16, which many reviewers note is expensive. This cost is often seen as an 'experience fee' for the elaborate decorations and festive atmosphere. While some find the drinks disappointing for the price, others feel the overall immersive experience justifies the expense. It's a trade-off between a unique festive environment and the cost of beverages.
