What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Moor Park is widely praised as one of Preston's best parks, particularly for its excellent children's play areas and recently renovated Serpentine Lake. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained paths, biodiversity focus, and the variety of sports facilities available. While some feel it hasn't fully regained its former glory after past events, the park remains a beloved spot for recreation, dog walking, and enjoying nature.
"One of the best parks in Preston, with two great play areas for children. The Serpentine Lake and surrounding space used to feel a bit shady, but recent renovation work has really opened it up. The BMX track and nearby PNE FC stadium add to its appeal. However, even after the BBC Radio event in 2024, I still feel it hasn’t quite regained its former glory."

"I love coming here to use the tennis court, although it's often in use. The whole park often gets used for sports like cricket and football; You'll also see a lot of dog walkers so if you're looking for somewhere to walk your dog I'm sure this'll be more than enough.
Overall I love playing badminton here as the trees provide great protection from any wind and people are always considerate not to walk through us."

"Taylors Funfairs were in the City for the Easter Funfair 2025 at Moor Park as part of their North West tour and it was fantastic. Hope they return soon because it was a great Fair and Moor Park was a brilliant setting. Happy Easter everyone and enjoy yourself if attending Moor Park for this very good Fair."
