"The first thing I should say is that if you call it 'dessert' and not 'pudding' then this is probably not the place for you, however, that said we would highly recommend trying this place for good quality no frills pub grub, if you want a decent meal at a decent price then give it a go. The place has an old fashioned charm about it that appealed to us, the original layout has been kept and not thankfully turned into a gastro-pub, it offers a small but varied pub style menu at what we think are reasonable prices. We had the Sunday special which consists of 2 roast dinners and 2 drinks for £25, as you should be able to see from the photo there was a lot on the plate and it was delicious. The staff seemed friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, there is music but played at a level where you can chat without shouting (which is a nice change).
Overall we would recommend visiting and trying it out, we will definitely be returning soon."

"Away fans save your money and go somewhere else! Should be a great pub this. The location’s great, big beer garden and loads of parking.
Staff were really nice, but that’s where the positives end.
We came for a few beers before football on Saturday and honestly didn’t have a decent pint between the 8 of us. And it’s not cheap either!
Estrella was sour, cask tasted soapy, Guinness in cans. Glasses weren’t clean. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I just don’t go back. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a pub. I bought 3 pints and didn’t finish a single one of them."
