"This is a charming Cornish fishing village.
The ambience is very pleasant, the people we met were friendly and the narrow streets had numerous old buildings and nice shops.
Driving here is difficult due to the narrow streets so it is best to use the main car park or the local buses to get here. We parked for free in one of the many laybys between Newlyn and Mousehole and then spent around ten minutes walking into Mousehole. This also gives a visitor the chance to visit the RNLI's small memorial garden which remembers the crew of the Penlee lifeboat who all lost their lives during an attempted rescue on 19th December 1981."

"Mousehole Harbour is one of the most beautiful and charming places I’ve ever visited. The little fishing village feels like it has stepped straight out of a postcard, with its narrow winding streets, pretty cottages, and the most picturesque harbour you could imagine.
The view across the harbour is simply stunning – especially at high tide when the colourful boats are bobbing gently on the water, framed by the old stone walls. At low tide, you can wander across the sandy harbour floor and take in a completely different but equally lovely perspective.
There’s something so peaceful and timeless about Mousehole; it’s the perfect spot to just pause, breathe, and soak up the beauty of the Cornish coast. Whether you’re sitting on the harbour wall with an ice cream, exploring the little shops and galleries, or just watching the world go by, it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression.

We spent a lovely afternoon in Mousehole Harbour — the locals were friendly, and the Cornish pasty we tried was absolutely delicious. We fished with lures from the end of the harbour and enjoyed watching kids and families jumping into the sea. The narrow streets add to the village’s character, and the gift shop was packed with cool, unique memorabilia. A peaceful and picturesque spot — definitely worth a visit!"
