"Had a wonderful time at this very underrated museum. The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The adult ticket also lets you have unlimited access for a full year. The place itself was well maintained and flowed well. Information was plentiful and gave a fascinating account of our local history. Our 2 year old loved the interactive elements, especially being able to climb on some of the vehicles. It was not busy at all and feel more people should be aware of this lovely little museum. We also ate food at the café which was reasonably priced and very nice. Overall, a wonderful place where you could spend many hours being immersed in history."

"Brilliant! I’ve wanted to visit for a while and today we brought my toddler, he absolutely loved it. It’s really well setup and isn’t overwhelming or underwhelming. I’m autistic so visiting places can be difficult but this place was perfect!"
