What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the unique souvenirs, particularly those made from tube seat fabric, and the engaging, interactive displays that delight children. However, some find the standard adult entry fee expensive, and there have been reports of poor packaging for online orders, though replacements are sometimes sent.
"A really enjoyable visit and I love the items in the shop made from tube seat fabric. I do think the standard adult entry free is expensive - you can come back as many times as you like in the year, but that’s of little use if you’re not local. If you’re on benefits though, bring evidence with you - some entitle you to entry for just £1!"

"My son had been wanting to visit the London Transport Museum for a long time, and he was absolutely thrilled to finally be here. The highlight for him was getting his dream underground train from the gift shop, which made the day extra special. The museum is really engaging for kids, with plenty of interactive displays, and it’s also a must-visit for anyone who loves transportation and London’s history. A wonderful family outing!
Maybe parents might get bored but kids are not"

"The great collection of old vehicles and a wonderful inside into the history of transport in London which is really the life blood of the community here. I am very cynical about the yearly membership that you are required to buy to enter the museum which is £25. I'm thinking that most people who visit here would be from outside the UK so they will not get to use a yearly membership. This is just a blatant cash grab and very disappointing. It shouldn't be more than £10. The gift shop is also very expensive and these two things detracted from what would have been a fantastic museum."
