"What a cute hidden gem! when I originally saw this on Google maps, I expected it to just be an abandoned Castle but it's run by historic Scotland. It still has some of its original features which is outstanding. You can even go out on the roof! Only 3 people in the entire Castle. it's £8 to enter without a historic Scotland pass so if you don't have that pass I really recommend getting either the 14-day pass for the annual membership."

"My favourite castle ever! I knew it was tiny (after huge ones ofc) so I honestly didn’t expect to fall in love with it to that extent. After visiting at least 30 other castles this one is officially my #1"

"A lot of history inside the castle- great for exploring. Quite a lot of spiral stairs but more than worth going into every room as the history is so well preserved. Amazing views from the top of the tower too. Plus staff were lovely and friendly! Highly recommend"
