"A photogenic bridge in Newport offering you a nice circular walk around Newport City Centre. Offers plenty of chances to try a bit of street and architectural photography and also snap a load of pigeons and seagulls if that is your thing!
Friars walk is nearby and has a lot of good places to eat and Newport high street is still surviving if you want a wander."

"I really loved this bridge !! My favourite bridge !! I was wanting to walk on this bridge when I'd visit Newport ,Wales for three years since the 1st time I saw pictures of this bridge on Google !! A very modern & stylish design caught my eye !! And IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT !!! I really loved π this bridge !!! The design of it & the look of it & the views from this bridge !! I was so surprised to see windturbine powers near the other bridge afar from there !! So nice to see !!( although ,I feel bad for birds, hoping they have some solutions to deter birds !! )Also ,I was really shocked to see so ~many people walking their dogs everywhere in Wales / England. Lots of lots of people were walking on this bridge & taking their doggies w/' em to cafes near by ( there are two very nice cafes by the end of this bridge ,I went to Quarter Coffee there & loved having my brunch there looking at Welsh spending their afternoon with their friends & fury friends at the cafe & Friars walk shopping center !! And I enjoyed watching people walking on the bridge !! ) I highly recommend everyone to walk on / around this beautiful bridge !!"

"This bridge, when first implemented, gave a very unique and futuristic look that compliments Newport, bringing more life to the area. However, the bridge has slowly gone into disrepair, looking absolutely filthy with dirt from over the years and generally looking more like an eyesore as time goes on.
The bridge could still be great if more care was given to it."
