"Lovely gardens and tea room operating on honesty box/payment system for entrance, giftshop and cafe. There wasn't a huge amount to see when I went (mid October) as most of the flowers were finished and the vegetables had been harvested, but the dahlias were utterly glorious. I thought the £7 entry for 1 adult was a little overpriced as the gardens aren't huge. However the homemade tearoom treats were delicious and very reasonably priced which made up for it. Overall a very pleasant experience."

The Walled Garden is lovely with the addition of The Bothy - an honesty cafe which has been created with such love and detail. The cakes are really good with fresh milk and cold drinks in the fridge - a really well equipped little kitchen area. There is a woodland walk which was short but lovely to do. A wonderful place to visit 🥰🥰"

"What a lovely tranquil place! There is an Honesty Box to pay as you go in, and plants grown there for sale. The gardens were in full bloom and a riot of colour with so many different parts of the garden to discover. There is a wonderful little cafe which has tea,coffee soft drinks, etc.including homemade cakes for which there is another honesty box, too..if u are a garden lover, it's definitely worth a visit.."
