"Amazingly peaceful part of Walney yet just across the channel from the bustle of Barrow. Bird life brilliant. I'd recommend parking in North Scale and walking north along the High Water line to the reserve and dunes and returning past flooded quarries onto perimeter path north east of airfield and along Lenny Hill lonning back to the Crown for an excellent pub meal or pint."

Daeboy T

"I'm lucky enough to live overlooking this and it's beautiful, it's a great walk through the reserve and along the beach."
