"Lovely little museum, not too overwhelming which is ideal for disabled visitors and ideal for the wheelchair. Lighting a little dim in some areas but didn't impact too much. Lovely items, learnt some great bits of local history and some nice local art upstairs, albeit out of our price range. Also free but well worth the donation."

"Great little place to visit. Compact so you can do this in a couple of hours. The museum is well laid out and very informative on the history of this place. Do go and look at the story of the gurkha soldier, who now lives in this region according to their information. Upstairs has an art collection, which is well laid out with good signage. Helpful informative staff who are very happy to tell you anything you might want to know. Very refreshing as have been to some places where they cannot be bothered. Do have a cream tea. Served so professionally by a lovely guy who works there and has such good customer care"
