"According to UNESCO, Macclesfield is the official Western end of the ancient Silk Road and this is the place to show you Macc's silky heritage. Lovely place to visit! Also: it has one of the prettiest cinemas on the top floor (it's an old Sunday School and their assembly hall is now a cinema and a super-sweet one)."

"The food from the hopeful food café (pay as feel) was great they filled 40 seats on both sittings 5.30 and the 7.30, and in the next room was "scoop and scale" so I popped in for a few supplies though I forgot to bring my own bags thankfully they supplied me with 5 if their own both events are well worth supporting ."
