"Please be aware that this is not the best way to describe this as it is the base for the inshore RLNI and harbour Police.
Not really a landmark either.
Poole Old Town is an area rather than an individual building."

"If you like architecture (I very much do) and you visit Poole, then you need to visit the Old Town. Beautiful buildings, large amount of gorgeous details on so many interesting buildings. It was fairly peaceful when I visited, not too hectic. Old merchant's houses, great doorways and the cute and fairytale-ish Guild Hall - not to be missed. Suffice to say, I was as happy as the proverbial pig int mud."
