While the trail can be steep, muddy, and unpredictable due to weather, hikers find the panoramic vistas of Loch Leven and the surrounding Highlands well worth the effort. Some find the descent tricky, but overall, it's a memorable Scottish adventure.

"It was a moderate to difficult climb to the top 😅 the trail was pretty clear most of the way till you reach the top. Then it gets hard as you scramble up to the top.

Unfortunately it was cloudy that day, but thankfully the view cleared up for a bit. Scrambling down was tough and pretty scary too but it was a nice hike nonetheless"

"Beautiful views. There was a lot of snow and rain in the last few days the paths were mushy or no where to be seen. We got sun, rain, fog and snow in one climb . The last 1/4 of the climb was tricky with no clear path and snow. Climbing down was even trickier! With a lot of mud .. very slippery! But glad we done it."
