Par Market & Food Hall is a highly recommended indoor destination offering a vast array of market stalls and a vibrant food hall. Visitors praise the variety of goods, friendly vendors, and excellent food options, making it a great spot for families and shoppers seeking unique finds. While some stalls can be a bit crowded, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
"Interesting place, plenty of traders and a good food selection.
You can get most things at this market, everything from antiques to video games and Pokémon cards. Well worth a visit if in the area.
The food at Gems Cafe was good quality and well priced, we managed to get a family of five a lunch with a drink for less than £30.
The food hall has a bakery, cafe, pizza vendor, Thai food, a rasta place and a butcher. There's plenty of seating but I imagine it's very busy at lunch times. Inside the main market is a couple of regular cafes one serves up roast dinners for £10."

"We visit Cornwall every year and had never heard of this place until we saw it on a leaflet left in the van we are staying in nearby, and I wish I’d found it sooner!
Parking is plentiful, and free! Very well signposted and easy to find. The market itself had lots of stalls, and all indoors so perfect for a rainy day!
Some of the stalls were a tad overpriced for what they were, and the DVD stall was really hard to have a good look at as it was so full of stock and teeny walkways. Absolutely loved the stall with the gentleman selling the movie/franchise plaques and signs, I bought a few! My daughter loved the book shop and my mum loved the older type clothes/toiletry stalls by the entrance. There was another stall I really liked that sold really cheap but unique croc charms (I got Coraline and The Corpse Bride), stickers and shirts that I’d not seen anywhere else before so that was right up my street! Also plenty of places selling the 3D printed dragons - my daughter loves collecting these.
The food hall is brilliant! We don’t have anything like this where we live and I loved the fact the whole family could get whatever they fancied from the different places and still eat together. The pizza slices were huge and so yummy, I was very happy!
We will definitely return when we come down again next year as it was a unique and enjoyable experience for us!"
