What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pegasus Theatre is celebrated as a fantastic community arts centre, praised for its friendly staff, diverse programming of drama, dance, and comedy, and its dedication to nurturing young talent. Visitors appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the quality of shows. However, some find the upstairs cafe can be overcrowded with limited seating during busy periods, and service there has occasionally been slow.
"Remembered ths good times when I used to perform plays there. The team are friendly passionate and very good teachers. This place will leave a special memory. For anyone who wants to start or develop their career in acting. This is a place that would do you a lot of good."

"A very nice theatre with shows going on all year round for anyone who loves acting. They also offer acting classes for this interested in the world of theatre so you or your kids can get an insight into being an actor. The only problem I have is that the café up at the top is not big enough to accommodate the large crowds the come in during s site and this can lead to you having to stand with food/drink because all of the seats are full.
Other than that it is a lovely place with great shows on all year round and that is why it deserves 4 stars."

"Review of the cafe - not theatre.
A good menu, with good prices and a nice set up. However on my visit today the service was terrible. We sat there for 40 minutes waiting for one ploughman lunch. The staff were very apologetic and said how busy it was, there were many free tables however and therefore I personally don't consider that it was busy. The lunch was also missing the chutney and didn't come with bread/butter, my wife had to go and ask for it.
As said the staff were very apologetic and did say they were new."
