"This place of Pegsdon Hills in Hamlet of Pegsdon is such a beautiful place for a walk high up hills and catching the sun go down is even better , the sheep and sometimes have the Highland cows too ,
Dogs must be on a lead all time as had some fatal and accidental sheep being chased or attacked.
Also it is a lovely place and after the long walk stop at the View for light lunch or cold drink ? Sitting in the garden staring at the hills you just walked up ."

"Gorgeous morning dog walk in frosty sunshine. Perfect weather…dogs have to be on lead for the duration of the walk as it’s a nature reserve and totally understandable. We saw lots of sheep and Kites swooping down. A few other walkers. Easy nearby parking and a clear footpath around the hills (approx 4km) with various gradients. Very lucky to have this in Bedfordshire"

"A 4.5-km walk that takes about an hour to complete. It's an easy walk to complete but there are some inclines which may be a challenge to some. The trail is open throughout the year and is beautiful to visit any season. At the top of Deacon Hill there are nice views which help free your mind from day to day stresses. There is livestock so you'll be able to see sheep and horses. Perfect for hiking, running, bird watching and dog walking. This is probably my favourite local walk."
