What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally enjoy Pendine Sands for its stunning, expansive beach and peaceful atmosphere, especially during the off-season. While the location and scenery are highly praised, some guests have noted issues with the cleanliness and comfort of accommodations, as well as inconsistent opening hours for on-site amenities.
"Site is brilliant. Close to beach. Apart from the caravan we stayed in, we had a lovely break. The space between bed and wall was about 10 inches. We struggled getting in and out of bed. We are elderly and was fortunate to fell into the bed while struggling getting in and out of the bed. But the shower was lovely. Site feels safe and well kept."

"The holiday park it's self is located in a great area for some nice surrounding scenery and having the beach close by makes it that much better.
The only issues we had is the caravan had dirty sofas and the plates were very dirty, of course you clean these before use but you don't expect to see them like that.
The bar and grill food was great but the toilets were dirty with flies flying around inside.
This was not the perfect holiday but it certainly was great.
The caravan was comfortable aside of the things mentioned above.
We went to the bar near reception and was helped by a staff member called Lydia. She made time to tell us about attractions to visit and took a keen interest in our day. She is a great asset to the team.
So in a nut shell, we loved our holiday but it could of been much better providing the above issues didn't occur."

"Overall, we had a lovely time at Pendine Sands.
The location is charming and peaceful, with beautiful seaside views and a quaint atmosphere. The caravan park itself is large and offers a good variety of venues to explore. We especially enjoyed the Showbar, it was spacious, had plenty of seating, and even stocked our favourite Sahara nuts, which was a nice touch!
We stayed in a Marro’s caravan in the Meadow Drive area. While the caravan was clean and tidy, it did feel quite dated. The table had mismatched edging, and the seating area was extremely firm and uncomfortable, which made relaxing difficult. Additionally, we were placed at the furthest point of the park, right next to a busy and noisy road. This was disappointing, especially as we believed we had booked a higher-range caravan and hoped for a more central or peaceful location.
Another letdown was the Duck Inn pub near reception. It was the closest venue to Meadow Drive, but unfortunately, it only opened Friday to Sunday, something that wasn’t advertised prior to our stay. On one occasion, it closed earlier than the stated hours, and other guests mentioned this was a common occurrence. This made us hesitant to return, as we couldn’t rely on it being open.
We also found the signal throughout the park to be very poor. While the park does offer free Wi-Fi, it was only strong enough to receive texts, not enough for streaming, social media or to Google Information. The television signal was also unreliable; even a bit of wind would knock out most channels, leaving us with only BBC.
Despite these issues, we did enjoy our holiday overall. With a few improvements to comfort, transparency, and connectivity, the experience could be even better."
