"Now with the new cafe it seems busier still at peak times. Lucky I don't go peak times too often. Beautiful for sunrise and sun set, walk or bike its a wonderful setting."
Dan Carty
"Really well laid out nature reserve made from a lake and marshes formed by mining subsidence ( hence the name flash) several well maintained and accessible hides around the water, playground area, food and ice cream and cheap car park. You can wander around the water and also up onto the Liverpool to Leeds canal. A nice place for a family walk."
