I'm off to Glasgow today for a few days. I've booked a tour of the Clydeside distillery but other than that I don't really have much in the way of plans; any good recommendations for things to do? And if you're wondering who tf goes on a trip to Glasgow in February, the answer…

Family coming up to visit me - help me pretend I’ve got an interesting life
My 15 year old sister and my dad are coming to visit me for the first time since I moved here 4 years ago. My uncle and aunt (late fifties) are also coming up. They’re all staying in Partick for 3 days. We don’t celebrate Christmas (dad and uncle don’t like Christmas stuff)…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the People's Palace and Winter Gardens for their free entry, rich social history exhibits, and the stunning Victorian architecture of the Winter Gardens. It's considered a lovely place for families and a great spot to escape the weather. However, recurring issues with closures for redevelopment have led to frustration among those who remember its former glory.
"Hate it cos its indefinitely closed. A crown jewel of tourist attractions in Glasgow's oldest park. Childhood memories abound from late 1950's when my great uncle James opened my eyes to the world of education on many visits there.
Now derelict as is the adjacent Victorian tropical plant house. A total GCC disgrace.😡"

"Free entrance for everyone.
What a lovely place! A splendid way to travel backwards in time! This place truly caters to the public, keeping diverse areas vibrant. The stunning architecture and garden surroundings could easily pass as a filming location for "Downton Abbey." Kudos to the incredibly kind individuals standing at the entrance all day, braving the cold to offer every visitor a proper welcome!
Ensure you contribute a small donation to play your part in sustaining this establishment (I've included the QR code in one of the pictures)."
