"What a fantastic afternoon! After a warm welcome in the bar we followed Al into the brewery where we enjoyed his fascinating tales about the history of Phipps, the family and the brewery. A sample or two of the Albion Brewery's finest products was enough stimulus to the beer buds to encourage me to sample a couple more with the best ploughman's lunch I've had for many years. We then went back to tour the tunnels, take a look at the well and then to the gin room! Thank goodness for the Neville Brothers and for Bill Urquhart - three of Northampton's finest."
