Reviews Summary

Pier Head is celebrated for its stunning waterfront architecture, particularly the iconic Three Graces, and its strong connection to Liverpool's history and the Beatles. Visitors enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, the free Museum of Liverpool, and the scenic Mersey Ferry rides. Some find the area can get very crowded, and there are occasional concerns about damage from skateboarders.

"The Pierhead is a vibrant area between the 3 Graces buildings and the River Mersey. The Museum of Liverpool and the Mersey Ferry Terminal are adjacent to the area, whilst Albert Dock is nearby.

The public spaces have been constructed to a high standard and feature historic statues and memorials associated with the area. The Leeds Liverpool canal ends at the Pierhead through a tunnel which has extended it fro Stanley Dock.

There is a statue of the Beatles where very often you need to queue to get a photo! Also when we were there we saw a sporty young seagull playing football with a tennis ball!"

Leslie Jones

"Nice walk by the river, must visit the museum plenty of restaurants near by!"
