What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Port Eynon Bay is cherished for its picturesque setting and peaceful atmosphere, offering a true escape with limited mobile signal. Visitors love the beautiful beach, dog-friendly access, and the opportunity for stargazing. Some find the parking can be challenging during peak times, and the lack of signal might be an issue for those needing constant connectivity.
"Lovely beach, located in a very peaceful area of South Wales. There’s some lovely local caravan parks, properties to rent and two nice pubs all in walking distance of each-other in Port Eynon.
There’s a lack of mobile signal throughout the whole area, so you are only likely to get signal via WiFi. This is actually an advantage as phones are over utilised these days and it’s very important to disconnect and live in the moment!
Hint: If there’s clear sky at night take a walk down the beach. For stargazing the view is incredible, you can just about see the Milly Way ✨"

"Picturesque beach on the Gower peninsula. Short drive from Swansea. Beach has sandy area to left of car park. Couple of cafes and a pub close by the beach. Pay and display car park. Can be very busy in summer."

"Nice beach, dog friendly to the right of steps all year while the main bit to the ledt is supposed to have no dogs until the end of September but dog walkers were taking no notice and there was nobody to enforse it so you can walk your dog all along the beach.
There is a couple of Fish & Chip shops, a bar restraunt etc."
