Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Porthkerry Beach for its peaceful atmosphere, stunning views of the viaduct, and the unique thrill of watching planes from Cardiff Airport overhead. It's considered a beautiful spot for quiet walks and family outings, though the pebbly nature of the beach is noted.
"Nice walk around the viaduct and the beach a bit of a rocky beach but none the less it’s peaceful and lovely views with every now and then a plane that will take off from Cardiff airport and fly right over you so close, very cool location to watch the planes. the viaduct is a spectacular view also.
there’s a children’s play park area down there too and a show and a cafe. looks dog friendly and just overall a nice place to be."

"What a wonderful place. Visited on a cold February afternoon and saw a total of two humans and three dogs. Just a short but lovely walk from the country park, but felt so remote and peaceful. The sound of the waves breaking on the pebble and stone beach was mesmerising. I don't know how busy it might be in summer, but it's perfect for a quiet walk and maybe a meditation in winter. Beautiful."
