"Passed by this while walking out of the Powder Mills and decided to stop in. What a lovely place! It's a handmade pottery studio as well as a cafe offering homemade cream teas, cookies, and cakes that were delicious. There is also a small exhibit about the Dartmoor hill ponies and they sell horse meat (ask the owner to explain why, she is very passionate about biodiversity and sustainability and I learned a lot about the ponies just from listening to her). Dogs are allowed! It offers pottery classes on the weekends (inquiry needed). Anyways this was a nice stop along my way and the scones were amazing."
