A lot of details on the internet are wrong, you will need ropes, we saw also a lot of drop shafts.. I wouldn't call it child friendly. but I guess all caves are dangerous right?
Review loses a star for how nasty and snobby the locals are, joked with my brother we may have to call Dartmoor Rescue(Cave Rescue) to evacuate us from the local populous.. I think they only want tourists up there, no locals allowed!.
We'll be 100% back but not until we have our own transportation as having to deal with the locals in town a nightmare.
Edit: Oh and for the guy that couldn't find it, it's the first gate on the left over the bridge."
