Reviews Summary
Prison Island London is overwhelmingly praised as a highly engaging and fun group activity, offering a unique blend of puzzles and physical challenges. Visitors love the variety of cells, the competitive leaderboard, and the overall energetic atmosphere. Some suggest booking extra time and wearing trainers for the best experience.
"I recently visited Prison Island in London as a group of 4 friends and had a fantastic time - it honestly was one of the best things I've done in London for years!
Once you check in, you have a quick pre-show, and then you're left to explore the 31 different games. They all vary in style and game type, ranging from puzzles to physical activities to reflex responses. You get 90 minutes to complete as many of them as you can. In the time we managed to do over 25 rooms!
It counts all your points, and if you do well enough, you go on the daily (or monthly) leaderboard. We ended up being 5th on the daily leaderboard!
The entire experience was well managed, the staff were friendly, and overall, it's a great activity to do in London on a rainy day. I'd highly recommend it for a fun afternoon out, a party, work gathering or party - it definitely brings out your competitive edge!"

"Our visit to Prison Island, London, gave us a full day of team challenges. The venue runs on clear rules and quick action. You enter a set of rooms called cells. Each cell tests a different skill. You work as a team to score points. You move at your own pace and choose the order of the rooms. This kept everyone engaged.
There were 17 of us. We split into four teams. It turned into family vs family. The setup pushed us to think fast. The system tracks your score as you go, so you always know how you are doing.
We tried a wide mix of cells. Basket tested coordination. Butchers Lane pushed balance and steady movement. Devils Island needed calm decision-making. Dive asked for timed moves. Flipper used clear tactics. Joker was about memory. Maps need focus. Penalty tested aim. Every cell had its own rules. None of them felt the same. This variety kept the whole group active.
Each room ran on a short timer. This created pace and friendly pressure. You enter, agree a quick plan, and try to score before time runs out. The moment the door closes, it is all action. You talk, move, and reset as needed. You then rush to the next cell and repeat the cycle. It never slowed down.
Energy levels stayed high. There was constant movement as we swapped rooms. We saw every team push hard to improve their scores. The children in our group enjoyed the physical rooms. The adults focused on the logic cells. Everyone found something that matched their strengths. This mix made it suitable for all ages.
The competitive part made the whole experience strong. We compared results after each round. We shared quick tips on what worked and what did not. No one stood on the sidelines. Every person contributed.
The layout of the venue made the flow simple. Each cell is close to the next. Clear signs show difficulty levels and the number of points available. You can repeat a cell if you want a higher score. Several teams did this, and it gave the final scoreboard a sense of progress.
The staff were helpful and gave clear instructions at the start. They monitored everything from the control room. If a cell needed resetting, they dealt with it quickly. This kept the session smooth.
The technology worked well. Doors opened and closed on time. Scoring updated instantly. Screens outside each cell showed availability. You could plan your next move without waiting around.
We booked a long session to give all teams enough time to try most of the rooms. This was a good choice. With more than 30 challenges, you need time to explore. The venue offers a structure that rewards repeat attempts. We saw teams go back into the same cell to beat their previous scores.
There was constant laughter across the group. We had playful moments each time someone missed a move or misjudged a jump. We also had quiet moments when tackling a logic puzzle. The mix of physical and mental tasks kept the day balanced.
This was a strong family day out. It worked well for a large group because everyone stayed active. You do not stand waiting for long periods. You choose your own path through the cells, so you never feel rushed by others.
Prison Island London suits families, friends, and colleagues. It offers structure, challenge, and teamwork. It fits people who enjoy quick tasks that need coordination, planning, or clear thinking. It also suits groups that want shared activity with light competition.
We left tired but happy. The scoreboard at the end gave us a clear finish. Each team walked away with a sense of achievement. We would return with a larger group or even try it with fewer people to test more rooms in depth.
Our visit gave us a full mix of play, challenge, and teamwork. It delivered a memorable day that brought our families together with plenty of energy and clear purpose."

"Amazing Experience - Highly Recommend!
I had an absolutely fantastic time and can’t stop thinking about how engaging and exciting the activities were. The experience really keeps you on your toes, with a perfect mix of fun, challenge, and teamwork.
A special shout-out to Ciana, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. Her friendly demeanor and knowledgeable guidance made our visit even more enjoyable. The staff overall did a wonderful job, but Ciana stood out for her professionalism and warmth.
If you’re planning a visit, a heads up: bring more than two people to get the full experience. It’s worth it to have a larger group to share the laughs, strategize, and maximize the fun.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an energetic, well-run experience with fantastic staff and memorable moments. Looking forward to coming back!"
