What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Provan Hall is praised as an 'Unexpected Gem' and a 'hidden gem' for its historical significance as one of Glasgow's oldest buildings. Visitors appreciate the chance to step back in time and experience its medieval aura. However, some feel there's limited to see inside, and the gardens could benefit from further restoration, though the potential is recognized.
"Nice looking now that it has been refurbished however there is very little to see inside to be honest although it is very well presented. Maybe it’s something planned for the future but it would be good to see the gardens brought back to former glory, there certainly is plenty of potential in the grounds. Worth a visit all the same given it’s one of the oldest buildings in Glasgow."

"You want to relax n unwind provan hall is a house of such historic aura n homely feel of those days. You can pretend you r in that era in this house. You can feel as elegant or legendary as u wish. It may even hav its own ghosts. My mobile turned off at one point just as the tour was about to start of the building. I wzs on a call to my bestie Mark when suddenly mid call the phpne paused with a dark screen at tour time 1pm. It waz a bit weird. I kept yelling mark mark mark a fdw times, he was still on hold n by itself the call returned n i ended marks call with bit of dignity saying i'll call you back after tour. But i don't think that was paranormal. But yet again its never happened to my mobile before.. Just in provan hall courtyard. I went in the day but I know i wana do one of its tours at night. Its not that steep.. Its approx 20gbp for an entire 2 hours."
