What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Queen's Park Suspension Bridge for its elegant design and the lovely views it offers of the River Dee. It's considered a beautiful and well-maintained landmark. However, some note that the bridge can become quite dirty and grubby, detracting from its overall appeal, and it can be slippery in winter.
"The Roodee at Chester is a wonderful place to visit. It has lovely views and mostly flat walks, I've been there many times since I was a kid. This time I took my dad for a 2 hour boat ride which was a great way to have a look around the areas. Especially good for disabled people like myself. The ride was £19 each but they do shorter 1 hour trip and there are peddle boats, rowing boats and small boats with a motor. There is also a lovely park near by but it is difficult to get to if your unable to walk far. There is an easier access from the other side of the park. A great day out especial if you have kids. Ice-creams and a cafe/ pub available to you down there.
Love it down there ❤️👌"

"Needs a good clean and a scrub down because is quite dirty and grubby despite being a beautiful bridge which seems like is in good condition underneath the grime as well. Enjoyed walking over it. Lovely views across the River as well from the halfway point."
