However, the very rocky terrain means sturdy footwear is absolutely essential, and some find the steep access a bit challenging.
"Small and lovely beach! VERY rocky. Do yourself a favour and go with sturdy shoes - many areas have rocks that are the size of (or bigger than) hands, and wearing my flat trainers was a terrible idea I'm regretting slightly the next morning.
Like many visitors, I love to look for sea glass. I found no larger pieces in the hour I was here (a bit before low tide), but it was so easy to find teeny pieces amongst the finer gravel patches!! I'll make miniature mosaics ✨ Even found a piece of the multicoloured stuff!"

"Beautiful beach. Steep climb up/down, but there are handrails for use. Very rocky Beach, which makes looking for rocks quite the task. Free parking is nearby, about 5 minute walk from stairwell. Not sure if you can swim here, but if you do I would recommend water shoes to protect your feet from said rocks. I mean tons of rocks, more rocks than sand. Beautiful location, seriously come visit!"
