Visitors appreciate Rhuddlan Local Nature Reserve for its free entry, accessible tarmac paths, and pleasant atmosphere for short walks and dog outings. It's seen as a well-maintained space that offers a peaceful escape with opportunities to observe local wildlife and enjoy views of Rhuddlan Castle. Some find the proximity to the dual carriageway detracts from the tranquility, and the limited parking can be an issue during busy periods.

"Small dog friendly walk, free carpark. Interesting sculptures, hard surface path, doesn't take long to walk .
View of Rhuddlan castle."

"Enjoyed a pleasant walk through this nature reserve in the sunshine. Free entry, small amount of car parking spaces, about 7 or 8 spaces. Some parts ok for disabled access, wheelchairs or prams if you dont stray from tarmac paths.A bit of a maze if you go off the main pathway. Plenty of benches and picnic areas throughout reserve. Plenty of wildlife including swans and ducks, with babies. Butterflies, bees and insects. Also there are supposed to be otters but didn't get to see any. Not a huge place so won't take long to walk around and it is next to the duel carriageway so it's not quiet and there is alot of traffic noise."

"An excellent example of doing a lot with very little. Because when you remember this was what remained of Rhuddlan station. The pathway being the course of the old line. Parking is limited on site.
This a family favourite walk for the grandkids, and even for oldies like myself being flat gives us somewhere suitable for all generations.
This could have been left derelict but has been made into a great family facility.
There are no toilets or restrooms on site"
