"Just outside the centre of Perth. Actually stopped here after a visit to St Andrews. Luckily had some sun. Lovely gardens, plenty of areas to stop and relax. Walkway through the river to a small beach area. Or just enjoy a picnic on the lawns"

"Fantastic park and gardens - glorious variety of trees, shrubs and flowers. The day I went the spring sunshine was out and happy and there was lots of birdsong. Would have liked to spend more time there but had a train to catch. Congratulated some of the staff I spotted on the way out, and was very impressed and pleased to hear that the gardens are looked after entirely by volunteers. Brilliant job!!"
