What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club is celebrated for its legendary status, intimate atmosphere, and superb acoustics, consistently delivering world-class jazz and blues performances. While the experience can be pricey, with some finding the food mediocre, the vibrant energy and exceptional music make it a must-visit for music lovers. The cramped seating is a minor drawback for some, but the overall ambiance and quality of acts shine through.
"Haven’t been here for a while and certainly not since the refurb. From start to finish, service from the reservation staff through to the waitress was excellent. Excellent acoustics (we saw the legendary Bob James and his new trio - excellent drummer and decent double bassist - sax guy on stand-in was ‘ok’) and fabulous atmosphere. Expensive though. Tickets, food and drinks totalled about £150 per person. You can of course skip the food! I had a ribeye steak and, while it wasn’t the largest cut of ribeye, it was perfectly cooked to my preference. Huge crème brûlée with pistachios. Delicious."

"This is a club that has been around for 65 years so seems to have really withstood the test of time. So much so that they are expanding next door. The acoustics are really good and it's a really nice vibe. I guess your experience will also depend on who you see that night. We were there on a Sunday night and it was completely packed. We did not eat there as we were told the food is mediocre. If you are looking for live music, I highly recommend."
Mark Goldsmith
"An awesome night! The music and energy were fantastic, and we ordered a few sides to keep us going, the cabbage and bacon really stood out. Drinks were great, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the tables are tiny, and our seating was really cramped, so it was a bit awkward trying to make space for both drinks and food.
The atmosphere is intimate, warm, and full of character, just as you’d hope for from such an iconic jazz club. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend a visit!"
