"Wow, what an amazing place to visit with #ReadyFreddie today. With an added bonus. We came to Leamington Spa from Nuneaton by train with the aim of visiting this museum. It was closed when we were last in town. We had a good bumble around the spa museum & the art gallery when a young lady from Yorkshire & one from Lancashire told us about a free tour which was starting soon. It was sold to me at the "Free" word but wow. Alan is a super tour guide & he took us behind the scenes & into some otherwise closed off areas. Loads of local history & someone dawdled so we had to forgoe the quiz but standing in the pool (library) & the offices (tiles) was exceptional. The set (corridor) for part of the "Sweet Thing" video was surreal. Absolutely incredible visit. If nothing else a painting purchased for the nation by the Daily Mail!
We liked the Arabian spa area, even if it's a mixture of cultures!"
