Visitors consistently praise the Royal Shakespeare Theatre for its superb acting, intimate atmosphere, and the relevance the RSC brings to Shakespeare's works. Many highlight the comfort of the seats and the friendly staff, making it a top destination for theatre lovers. Some minor drawbacks include the potential difficulty with older English phrasing, though this is often overcome by the compelling performances.

"Thoroughly enjoyed seeing "A Winter's Tale" at this charming theatre. The acting was superb and the effects were intriguing. I don't think there's a bad view in this theatre, and the seats were quite comfortable. The ushers were friendly and made check-in easy. If you get a chance, definitely attend one of their productions!"

Natalie Nielsen

"Great Place for Shakespeare fans
Sadly we could not see a play, but we were already happy to see this historical place and the shop where we were able to purchase a few Shakespearian souvenirs.
The place itself has on top of the Theater a café & a restaurant and obviously the boutique.
Very close to the canal so great to visit and then go for a stroll.
It was all really nice to peruse & visit. Highly recommended!"

Paul Vivas

"We visited last night to see 'The Winters Tale'. This was our third time here and as always it was amazing! It never ceases to amaze me how these incredible actors take these plays, written over 400 years ago, and make so brilliant and relevant for today. It doesn't matter that the old English is difficult or that you only know a brief outline of the plot, they draw you into the story and you understand it completely and it's spellbinding! The layout and intimacy of this beautiful, unique theatre make It so special and no-one will ever do Shakespeare better than the RSC. It was emotional, atmospheric, heart-breaking and funny at times, and just fantastic!"
