What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Royal Victoria Country Park for its beautiful scenery, historical significance, and family-friendly amenities like the playground and miniature railway. It's a highly recommended spot for picnics and outdoor activities, offering a great escape with plenty of space to roam. Some reviews mention that food options could be more varied and that some attractions, like the dinosaur exhibition, could benefit from better maintenance.
"Went to see The Lost World of Dinosaurs. They were good and some really great and huge dinosaurs to make kids happy. They were placed in woods so it was better. But they can do more by having more and better condition dinosaurs rather than worn out ones.
Not much options to buy food other than burgers, chips and ice cream and drinks.
Huge area for picnic and roaming."

"Great park! The view of Soton Docks is not the best but the park and its amenities make it a great choice for a day out and get fresh air. Visited the dinosaur exposition there yesterday which is now closed, and it was great. The park should have more events like this!"
