"Large free carpark gates closed at 8pm. Good wide paths, easy walking ideal for dog walkers joggers and cycling. There are a number of quite steep hills that may be a bit of a challenge for pushchair and wheelchair users. Number of benches throughout the park. The park is well maintained. It was a pleasant walk today before the rain started."

"Couple of parking spots, which are free, on Lund Hill Lane, open all year round, great for walking, cycling, dog walks and families.
No amenities here
Now a country park located on the former site of Monkton Colliery, then Royston Drift, which closed in 1989, the transformation is remarkable
It is now a home to an array of wildlife, with plenty of paths throughout the area
Most paths are of loose stone, so may not be suitable for all abilities and wheelchair users
Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area"
