Hello, I'm interested if anyone knows about this structure next to the Co-op? Is it anything to do with the old docks and why has it been left like this for years? Thanks

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find value in the discount stores like M&S Outlet and The Range, with more dining options emerging. However, the parking charges and frequent policy changes have been a significant point of dissatisfaction, leading some to feel the outlet is declining.
"Great value with so much to see & do. Annual pass is around £36 allowing as much access as you like. Site covers 81 acres & offers something for everyone. We went on the submarine Ocelot & a couple of other ships. Wasn't the best day to visit but most of the exhibits are under cover. The Victory wasn't here so we will come back again next summer. Great day out."

"Been here quite often and it has evolved positively over the years. Shopping can be hit or miss but they usually have great bargains in stores like M&S, Choice, Clarks, Holland and Barrett, The Range just to mention a few. More restaurants are popping up which is good. The dock area has lovely views too."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quite a few shops here including an M&S Outlet and a Starbucks.
Only gripe is the parking charges introduced that definitely stop me visiting as much (daily versus once a week maximum).
Updated Review 15/05/2025 ##
##########################
⭐️ They have cut the free parking from 90 minutes to just 60 minutes… pure greed.
The incentive to stay, relax and browse all the shops has now been removed, now I’ll be in to get my Starbucks or browse M&S outlet and then leaving; poor shop owners will be the ones to lose out.
The fact that they have changed it for a third time I know of (Free > 30 > 90 > 60) just causes confusion and mistrust especially from those people who will no doubt get caught out and have to pay extra or worse end up getting fines.
I’ll update again if they ever put customer experience over greed."
