What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sandwell Park Farm is cherished for its family-friendly atmosphere and charming Victorian setting, particularly its delightful rabbit garden. Visitors rave about the excellent tea room, offering delicious food and cakes at reasonable prices. While most farm animals are now at a nearby location, the farm remains a peaceful and enjoyable spot for a relaxed outing, especially during its well-organized seasonal events.
"Really good atmosphere, family friendly. The has loads of books to buy, great toliet facilities, disabled access and well as a changing facilities for small babies."
Tazanawai Banyamyan
"An amazing place for families to visit, especially those with young children like ours. The only animals here are rabbits as the farm animals are now located at Forge Mill Farm nearby.
There are lots of events which are run throughout the year such as Easter, Christmas or any school holidays so would sign up to the Council’s newsletter to be reminded of these to book tickets. We came today for a Teddy Bears Picnic Event which included a Teddy Bear Hunt, soft play area, sensory area, story time and a crafts area where we made items to take home and it was only £20 for a family of four so well worth it.
Outside the Centre there is now a train for families to enjoy which takes your around the park for just £1.50. This may only be for half term and other school holidays as have never seen this before today.
The team room is very nice with great food and cakes for breakfast or lunch. The service is excellent and the setting is very nice inside with plenty of seats and tables inc high chairs for children.
There are approx 10/15 rabbits in the garden and the end of the Visitor Centre who live in really nicely made mini houses. They also sell toys and have recently added books for adults and children which are great. They sell their own honey too for £8.50 a jar. Parking is £2 for all day and starts from just 40p for 1 hour."

Beyond specific events, the farm's general atmosphere, coupled with the tea room and gift shop, provides a pleasant experience for families looking for a relaxed outing. The inclusion of baby changing facilities and high chairs in the cafe further enhances its appeal to families with very young children.
