"This mainly 13thc church (though there has been a church here since 1090) is looked after by the church conservation trust. The inside is full of interest. Wonderful jacobean panelling, fantastic Tombs and architecture. This place is a delight for the eyes. Parking on road and can be tricky to get a space I'd imagine at busy times."

"Now cared for by The Churches Conservation Trust this church is in a beautiful location in historic village associated with the Arts & Crafts movement. The church is medieval with later additions especially in the 18th Century. There are three exceptional tombs inside plus amazing Jacobean carvings from a demolished house - pew ends are marvelous. Church yard includes tombs of leading Arts & Crafts artists plus the tomb of Rebekah Mason, first wife of the surveyor Charles Mason of the famous Mason-Dixon line separating North from South in the USA (between Pennsylvania and Maryland and hence the dividing line between slavery and no slavery in the US Civil War)."
