"A lovely beach area, sandy but with a pebbly section next to the sea wall. The sea is warm and clear. There is a section flagged for swimming with lifeguard on duty. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for hire and there a are a few beach bars/cafes offering snacks and drinks and there are also FREE public loo's nearby. Only a short wander from the main high street. Worth a visit"

"Have not been here for a while, the steam train is good to go on it gets super busy though, It's a beautiful small seaside with some shops places to eat. Plenty of toilets close to the beach
The beach itself is very pebbly a bit of pain getting in out of the water, doesn't have as much nice soft sand like other beaches but despite all that it's still a nice beach to enjoy just not one or my top beaches"

"A great beach if you can time it when the tide is out. We parked right on the front and if you head down the coast there are dog friendly stretches. Not too busy even on a gorgeous sunny Sunday. Enjoy!"
